Express Yourself - Quick Write To Reach Happiness
Journaling Releases The Feelings
The world is so fast paced and doesn't allow us to just get in touch with our inner feelings. The only way to improve our inner feelings is to take 10 minutes out of the day either first thing in the morning or late in the evening before going to bed to journal. Write about what's on your mind.
Where to Journal?
Generally, speaking get to a place that is quiet so that you can concentrate on how you're feeling at this moment in time. That place could be in your special room, in a cozy corner, or that place that you have the least amount of traffic in.
How to Begin
Ask yourself why do you feel as you begin to write in your journal? As your feelings begin to express themselves through your thoughts. Write down the immediate thoughts that come to your mind. Do not stop writing until you can no longer think of anything.
The Big Step
What glares back at you as you write these feelings and thoughts? What is it about that topic that makes you feel as you do? Dig deeper, and listen to your mind and soul as you think and feel through each of these feelings. Write what comes to your mind. This is not a time to reason, just write what comes to your mind for 5 minutes. Jot it all down. Set a timer and write the entire time.
Once this time has stopped. What do you see? What did you write? Why did you write about that topic? Could you dig deeper with that topic to find out more?
Let's journal daily to see if these thoughts and feelings improve or not.
Time
With time your journal will become a place that you look forward to daily. You will be thinking of what you will write next in your journal. With time you can go back to revisit this time period to relive this time and ponder on it.
